Almost an ordinary day, if it wasn't...

Last night, the weather was so amazingly beautiful that we went out again at around 10 p.m. to visit the horses and take some nice photos.

Other than that, today was almost like any other day, if it wasn't for the first ride this morning with Karin. She on Leiknir and me on my big white giant Jökull - I think he has to come home with me :-) The plan was for Leiknir to ride a little on the oval track and I was supposed to make a nice video. So far so good - but nobody had counted on the horse. First, he didn't go as smoothly as he usually does - the video is useless according to Karin. Then she wanted to try it again. Walk okay, trot okay, tölt... well and then in the next round, at least attempted to take a nice shot in the canter. At least he jumped off correctly, but after 2 canter strides, he didn't like it anymore, jumped sideways, and unfortunately, Karin had to follow the laws of physics - centrifugal force always comes first - and landed unpleasantly on the oval track. Apart from a slightly bruised ego, there was nothing wrong with her - the only annoying thing was the walk home, as the horse confidently and proudly made its way home, showing beautiful gaits. I could ride home at least :-)

A certain routine is slowly starting to develop when it comes to daily routine. Working with the horses is always new and exciting. And on a special request, there are a few pictures of my daily life today.
