Goodbye beloved Ko Lanta

Maybe our last post before the return trip? Let’s see...

Today we had to say goodbye to our beloved island Ko Lanta....and the people there. We were warmly welcomed that it was difficult for both sides to say "Goodbye". We took some more photos and decided to see each other again next year :-) 

Now we are back in Bangkok, the city that I'm not sure if I find it attractive or deterrent. The great street food and the colorful diversity are fantastic, the noise and the enormous traffic drives me crazy. 

After we brought the backpacks to the hotel (and carried them up 3 floors), we jumped into the hustle and bustle and ate at one of the countless street stalls. And there we met nice people again. This openness here (in Thailand), to simply start a conversation with strangers, fascinates me again and again. 

Tomorrow we will probably spend our last hours of the trip in the air-conditioned shopping mall before heading to the airport in the afternoon.
