WOW! 😲 I haven't seen so much water pouring from the ceiling in my house! Plus, it's better suited here. 🤷🏻♂️
These gigantic waterfalls are located in the middle of the rainforest at the three-country border of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. And we had planned to see them in just one day... with expected temperatures of 36 degrees Celsius!
But first, our flight was about 2 hours delayed, so we couldn't watch the Boca vs. River first leg final and arrived at the hotel around 6 PM, which did not meet our expectations and was located right next to the River Plates fan club headquarters, where the 2-2 draw was celebrated like a victory! Until about 3:59 AM at night! 🙈
Our Venezuelan taxi driver (his name: Sergio Ramos! 🤣) also had a short night's sleep and overslept (foul !!). Arriving late on the Brazilian side of the waterfalls, we were immediately blown away 🙄 by the gigantic size of this natural wonder! After a nice walk and countless photos, we headed to the Argentine side at noon! Here, the size became even more apparent and couldn't be captured in photos anymore. Also, the wildlife was more diverse. We encountered monkeys and even saw a few toucans! Arriving at one of the highest viewpoints, we took a few minutes to enjoy the view, the fresh water breeze on our faces, and our time! Wonderful!
PS: so far only mobile pictures, we still need to secure the pictures from the camera.
