Kid's Choice!

Lisa really wanted to go to a bookstore again. She was looking for a specific comic. So we visited almost every bookstore and comic store we could find. Berni couldn't stand any more bookstores in the evening! 😂

Since Jill missed out on exploring downtown Vancouver because of her flu, she wanted to stroll down and up Granville and Robson Street. In between, we went to the 'Top of Vancouver' restaurant at the Vancouver Lookout. The revolving restaurant offers a great view of the entire city (one round per hour).

We had an early dinner at Nando's on Davie Street. But it was not comparable to the restaurants in London. 😏

Actually, I would have loved to go to the Lynn Valley in the north and walk across the 50m high suspension bridge in the canyon. Simone, the woman from Vorarlberg, gave us this tip when we returned the motorhome. Unlike the Capilano Suspension Bridge, the bridge in Lynn Canyon is not so crowded and there is no expensive admission fee. However, it is a bit inconvenient to get there without a car or motorhome. Since the weather was not so great today, we abandoned the plan. Maybe next time! 😝👍

Our Apartment

Finally, a few remarks and photos about 'our' apartment. The takeover was a bit bumpy, but the location was very good for us. The proximity to Granville Island was great. With two bedrooms, a shower/toilet, kitchen, dining area, living room with balcony and a view of Downtown, it was perfect. Berni also had to fix things from time to time 🛠😝. Everything was included, from curtain rail, detached window, non-functioning lamps to reassembling the shower rod... But in the end, he's MacGyver! 😂
