13th Day - from Kransjka Gora to Ljubljana

It's only downhill, but the previous days have noticeably taken a toll on us.

The beautiful high alpine landscape of Triglav National Park is expanding, we are leaving the Alps behind.

Ljubljana has an affordable campsite (30 Oppen for one tent for one night - a special offer).

It was and still is very hot today, so we took a long lunch break in the shade of big trees.

We witnessed a rally for schoolchildren, with older kids guiding each station. Very impressive collaborative effort.

By the way, Slovenia celebrated Independence Day yesterday, the state has existed since 1991.

The city center is vibrant, you can meet friendly, young, open-minded people there who all embody a sense of pride.
