Bye bye Sydney

Hello everyone!

We are doing well, and we are slowly getting used to our hostel room. Over the past few days, we have seen a lot of Sydney. For example, we visited the huge Royal Botanic Garden and took a boat tour with a personal guide (since we were the only ones on board). We were able to see new things that we wouldn't have been able to see from the mainland. Yesterday, we went on a whale watching tour and actually saw some whales, including a mother and baby whale. On the way back in rough waters, we unfortunately got seasick, and we were very happy when we were back on solid ground.

Today, we are already heading on. Since the weather down here doesn't quite meet our requirements, we have decided to fly to Cairns in the north, where it is currently around 30 degrees. We are looking forward to unpacking our bikinis and of course diving in the Great Barrier Reef.
