Yes, we ended up in nowhere again after Fermont. After 250 km, the highway takes us to a campground/leaving us today with workers who are at home here with their trailers. We have a great place by the water for one night but we have no network/absolutely no reception.
After 250 km the highway takes us to a campground that is now intended for workers from the large hydroelectric power plant. We continue on 100 km of gravel road/afterwards, at some point 200 km further our app tells us a nice place!
We have arrived in the beautiful village, here they call it the town, Baie-Comeau 🌞🫶
The nice woman in the tourist center gives us information about where we can stand. We drive to our parking space, which we had chosen and were happy. It's the last holiday in the country and we get to know nice people.
And: Carmen from Montreal ❤️🌞👋🏼
There is a super nice woman traveling alone in her van
They speak to each other - in English - she actually speaks French - and she asks if she can speak German to us!!
Carmen from Montreal lived in Frankfurt, Berlin and Hanover for some time and was now happy to speak German with us.
Of course we had a wonderful evening at the van, with candles, wine, nuts and Mettwurst. We got great tips and found a friend.
In the morning we went paddling together and after a coffee Carmen moved on.
“Hello Carmen, I know you're reading this 😁🥰: Greetings 💯 We were happy to accept your tip at Lorenzstrom at Camp Paradies 😎
You wouldn't believe it. We're standing on the water. We have a luxury place.
At breakfast we see the elections, how they blow and we hear them
Thanks…..
