The day

Since no campsite within a suitable distance was available the day before, we set off from the accommodation Guest Rooms Aschenbrenner (a real recommendation) to Coburg.

After we passed the branch of our car insurance company...

...we went to the old town and stopped at the café on the market. Nice center with beautifully decorated houses.

The cycle route towards Lichtenfels offers some "nice" climbs in places, whereas the ICE route Nuremberg-Erfurt leads through the landscape at a fairly level level.

Buch am Forst is a place in the municipality of Lichtenfels with a nice town center.

In the past, there was a very exciting "structural organization" there, which is still conceivable in some German administrations today.

At the campsite we had a view of the Main in the evening sun from our tent. Really cool.

Only the mosquitoes were a bit annoying. But Maria has developed a new method to protect herself.
