Düsseldorf - Helsinki - Hong Kong

The flight was scheduled to take off from Düsseldorf at 6:45 p.m. But it's probably not possible without delays, so we took off in a relaxed manner, 25 minutes late. The wait was worth it, the sun was just setting above the clouds. We landed in Helsinki around 9:15 p.m. (local time 10:15 p.m.). And what can I say, I love the Finns. Little Christmas huts and elves were set up everywhere. I even found an Advent calendar, which makes me particularly happy. :)

I spent the time until the connecting flight drinking coffee and the Finns scored well here too. Normal prices at the airport! Coffee 2 euros, water 2.30 euros.

The connecting flight also took off late, but with a flight time of 13 hours that wasn't too dramatic. I actually managed to sleep for two hours and the time went by surprisingly quickly. Immigration in Hong Kong went smoothly. Now I just can't lose the wipe and always have to carry it with me. Otherwise the police will complain 😅

My suitcase arrived quickly and taking the subway was less adventurous than expected. I found it straight away and actually switched over. Tomorrow I'll start the first real day. It's now 9 p.m. here and all I can do is take a shower and get rid of the airborne smell.
