What do I really need for the trip? -The decluttering.

01.11.2018:

After sleeping in, we actually wanted to visit the island again. However, since time had already passed, we stayed by the pool. I also took the opportunity to update my diary during the afternoon.

One annoying thing about our hotel was that the power outlets were so loose that no plug stayed in place. Even when holding onto it, the phone wouldn't charge. Strangely enough, it worked with the power bank though. Well, at least.

In the evening, we went to the beach to explore the remaining area. I found an original Tommy Hilfiger T-shirt for about five euros. Then we had some burgers.

Back at the hotel, I had to declutter my backpack. As mentioned before, I was carrying around 18.2 kg of stuff. Plus carry-on luggage. I quickly found a few small items to remove. What took up a lot of space was the winter jacket. I definitely don't need it in Asia. So carrying it around for half a year just so I might need it in Australia someday? Doesn't make much sense.

I just wanted to be prepared, as I have a hard time finding jackets in my arm length. I'll leave it in the room tomorrow. It wasn't a special jacket and it was also cheap. BUT since it took me forever to find one in my arm length, it somehow had more value than the purchase price. And I hate wasting things. So it was quite difficult for me. But I had no other choice. I could only check in 15 kg for the flight from Bangkok to Krabi tomorrow.
