Achensee, Tyrol - March 2017

Take a spontaneous break; previously unthinkable mostly due to organizational reasons. But since the T5 Cali named 'Paul' joined our team at the beginning of the year - unfortunately my Pauline gave up the ghost... - it is finally possible. Thursday evening the walls were closing in, googled campsites by the lake with a view of the mountains and found the dreamy Achensee. And on Friday morning we set off. First camping trip with Paul - completely unprepared but super nice. Sometimes you just have to dive into the deep end. But the baptism by fire was passed with flying colors. Even though we arrived at a lonely campsite late at night ('Just park anywhere. We'll find you a nice spot tomorrow morning.'), the power in the interior went out because the reading lamp had a defect, and Lila and I had to feel our way through the T5 in romantic fairy lights dim light, I was feeling quite ill and it was so stormy on the first night that sleeping upstairs was out of the question. So at 3:00 in the morning I had to play luggage Tetris to be able to build my bed downstairs and retract the roof. Pure adventure but a refreshing break in breathtaking scenery. My wanderlust was awakened.
