On Monday, I had a potato pancake. It was very tasty and interesting. To make it, you need to have 3 pounds of potatoes, 2 onions, 2 eggs, and salt & pepper. Potato pancake is a traditional German meal typical of Cologne, and it is usually eaten with apple sauce.

Here's the recipe for some German waffles that Nour's mother made for us for breakfast.
It was actually in English and I had to translate it but I hope it's okay.

250 g soft unsalted butter
200 g icing sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
5 medium eggs
2 tsp baking powder
125 ml milk
125 ml single cream

And in English:
250 g soft unsalted butter (margarine)
200 g caster sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla flavouring
5 medium eggs
500 g flour
2 tsp baking powder
125ml milk (they used rice milk)
125ml single cream (instead used dairy-free yogurt)
