Marina Bay Sands + Hello Malaysia

Argitaratu: 23.12.2018

Hello Malaysia πŸ‘‹πŸΎ

First of all, I wish you all a happy 4th Advent from the 30-degree warm Muar (Malaysia) πŸ•―πŸŽ„.

Yesterday we left at 9.30 am and had breakfast first πŸ˜‹πŸ˜. Of course, we went to the same place again because the breakfast was simply amazing. After that, we were a bit clueless because there wasn't much left for us to see (at least not in our price range πŸ˜…). So we just wandered around and visited the Arab quarter. Everything there looks really beautiful with cafes and restaurants everywhere.

After that, we went to a park until we almost died from the heat. So we sat down in a cafΓ© (Jasna was promised a cake, so it had to be fulfilled β˜πŸΎπŸ˜‚). When tiredness completely overcame us, we went back to the hotel. At 5.15 pm, we continued, this time with a plan - Marina Bay Sands Skypark. The view from up there is amazing, you can see the whole city, the harbor, and the sea. Of course, the prices up there are also insane πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€πŸ˜‚.

After drinking 2 glasses of wine, we went out to have dinner.

Since everything was so expensive in the past few days, we sat down in a snack bar on our street. We were more or less dragged into the place. When we sat down at the table, we felt a bit like we were back in China πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€πŸ˜‚. Except for the Chinese men who were drinking beer here, there was no one else. And of course, they stared at us again, just like in China πŸ™„. But it doesn't matter, the food was good and for a change, it was cheap πŸ‘πŸ½. Then we went back to the hotel.

This morning, we continued to the bus station at 8.45 am - departure to Malaysia πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ. The bus ride was surprisingly easy, even at the border, everything went quickly. We arrived at 2.30 pm. Everything here is definitely different again. Cleaner than in Vietnam and Cambodia for sure πŸ˜‚. But you can definitely tell that we are in a Muslim country. The people here are also looking at us, but not in a stupid way, but in a very friendly way πŸ˜‡. After arriving at the hotel (by the way, it's really cool and the beds are super comfortable), we had something to eat at Pizza Hut and, surprise surprise, we went for a coffee (coffee is lifeeeeee).

Ihr kânnt es ruhig zugeben, dass der Dauerregen hier euch enorm fehlt. Dazu Glühwein.... Was ist dagegen ein kühles Bier auf irgendeiner Dachterasse in Malaysia😘
