Day 11: Continuing the journey to the Sunshine Coast

Hello there,

Today, it was time to pack up again and hope that everything fits in my backpack. But everything went smoothly and after breakfast at the hostel, I had already checked out. So the first part of my Canada trip is over. The 10 days in Vancouver flew by and I have already experienced so many amazing things. The next stop is now at my great aunt Angelika, who lives near Vancouver on the Sunshine Coast. She wanted to pick me up in the afternoon by car in Vancouver, so I still had some time to spend with the Austrian girl. Luckily, I could leave my big backpack at the hostel :-)

We made our way to Stanley Park, where I had already been before. But the park is so big that you can easily spend several days there. This time we wanted to rent bikes and ride through Stanley Park. There are bike stations all over Vancouver where everyone can rent bikes through an app and return them to a different station. So we rode through the park for another 2 hours before we had to go back to the hostel to get our things.

In the afternoon, I met up with my great aunt Angelika in Vancouver and together we drove to the ferry that took us to the Sunshine Coast. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't that nice anymore, so we had to sit inside.

When we arrived at her home, I was overwhelmed by the view from her living room to the sea. I've been here before, but I forgot how beautiful it is here :-D

I will now spend the next few days here and probably be able to relax a bit after the eventful last few days.
