Tough night, especially for Dad. First, he had to dismantle and store everything again. Then, at midnight, Jule went crazy. She really wanted to try bratwurst for dinner, but it made her fart all night long. Since Mom was tired of breastfeeding, Dad had to calm her down. As soon as one fell asleep, the next one woke up...
At least the sun was shining early in the morning. We decided to change our route. Since we didn't feel like going on a city trip, we decided to drive past Oslo. The campsites there also had bad reviews on the internet. If you can believe that..
We quickly looked for something on the internet that was on our way to the next campsite in Sweden. We ended up here in Fredrikstad. The journey here started off cozy. Almost no traffic again. The kids were sleeping... We took a break at the Norwegian McDonald's for lunch. While Philip admired the Norwegian cops and Jule flirted with strangers, Dad tried to order a milkshake with nothing in it. Strengthened, we headed towards our destination. It's weird that the GPS says 11km but arrival in 50 minutes??? It leads us straight through a small gravel forest path for 1.5 km. Now we know why. We wonder what would happen if someone came towards us here, but immediately dismiss the idea. The entrance to the campsite somehow reminds Mom of the Freiberger Soldier Pond (yes, it really exists). It's a picturesque spot and the first time we say "wow, it's hot." We parked the car and went to the beach to cool off. Since there are some shallow slippery rocky coasts, Mom slipped and fell on her butt. Yes, it still hurts!
After dinner, tired Jule goes to bed. Philip and Dad continue exploring the campsite. It's a bit old school here. Only 2 nights here. Then off to Sweden.
