San Pedro de Atacama

After the beach, we head inland again. San Pedro de Atacama is on the program. On arrival, it is very nice and warm. The city is quite manageable and very touristy. I still like it a lot. My hostel is about a 10-minute walk from the center and is very cozy.

On the evening of my arrival, I set out to find a nice agency to book a tour to the desert for the next day. After the 4 days in Bolivia and to save some money, I actually don't want to see much around, just drive into the desert, let it all take effect and then come back. Unfortunately, it's not possible like that. There are always only combinations of several sights. So I decide on a day tour. I see the desert, flamingos, lagoons, volcanoes, lakes, and foxes.

This time, I don't go to bed early in the evening. I'm picked up around 10 p.m. to go stargazing. An expert explains some constellations to us. We also see the moon up close. Afterwards, there are some drinks and snacks under the starry sky.

After all the great impressions and glasses of wine, this night is very good
