07. - 09. May: School, Storm & Cows

Argitaratu: 09.05.2021

On Friday, I had school. Luckily, it was online. I am in the final sprint and have exams at the end of the month. I should finally start studying...

Anyway, for some reason, the owner of the infrastructure and the cows here gathered and sorted the cows (about 100). That's the moment for us to think about guarding our caravan/awning so that it doesn't get trampled by the cows. So we stood guard for about 2 hours.

On Friday evening, we went out to eat with other employees. The restaurants are open again here. It was cozy and there was typical Spanish food. (Prawns, mushrooms, vegetables, shrimp, pork belly) It was all very good! (If you like it...)

On Saturday, a storm arrived here that kept us busy until late at night: Various things were blown around the stud farm, roof sheets were torn off, etc. At night, the storm was so strong that we couldn't sleep anymore. The caravan was shaking and we were worried if our awning would hold up. So in the early morning hours, I finally got up and parked the trailer as a "windbreak" in front of the awning. That actually helped, it was much calmer afterwards.

Today, Sunday, it was still stormy, but rain set in in the evening and ended the storm. It has stopped raining now, but it's much cooler again than it was 2 days ago (currently about 7 degrees, 24 two days ago)
