13 Rest Day in Murist

Despite the many kilometers I rode yesterday, my tiredness was not the reason for this rest day. It should really be called a rainy day. Because today it only rained once, and sometimes quite heavily. It would have been neither fun nor safe to ride the bike. Therefore, I had no choice but to postpone my arrival home by one day.

Since I did nothing other than a short walk, I am now so rested that I don't even know how I am going to sleep tonight. I would much rather just hop on my bike and keep going. I believe I could make it home in one piece. However, the rain is still quite intense.

Nonetheless, I did at least go for a walk in the afternoon to get some fresh air. It was a damp and at times slippery affair. Thanks to my good gear, I stayed dry.

My host made me a simple but really good breakfast today. I also inquired about dinner. She offers it for a flat price of 25 CHF. I consider her to be a good cook and am curious to see what she prepares for me. I think I will dine with her and her husband.
