And once again, after a full and exciting week, there is absolutely nothing to report!
So let's.... nothing!
The internship gets better from week to week.
I'm becoming more calm during the assignments, I memorize the names of my colleagues, and I learn...every day.
Besides, it's incredibly exciting! You are alerted, you drive to the location, you ring the doorbell. And what happens now? What is hidden behind this door? What exactly happened? How is the patient doing? How can we help? Every assignment is different, every day brings something new!
At first, I was not sure if it was a really stupid idea to work full-time for four weeks during the summer holidays...
After three weeks, I can definitely answer this question:
It is totally crazy, fantastically crazy!!!! 💥✌️🎉
Furthermore, I realize how much the weekend suddenly means and how precious it is when you're on duty all week.
So yesterday, after work, I went to the Kurdish bakery at the train station. That is definitely one of my personal hotspots in Celle! Hanging out and drinking coffee! Great concept! And it's getting even better: Recently, they even give a heart-shaped cookie with the hot drink! Love and pastries, an inspiring encounter of worlds!
Afterwards, I went to the cinema again.
A romantic comedy was on the program.
'With all my heart'
Yes, a nice summer movie.
And surprisingly, I received a gift there, a book!
I will read it in the next few days and then pass it on. (See photos)
Oh yes, books! I have almost abandoned a book for the second time in my life. It was terrible! It was about a woman who was somehow into esoteric stuff. In the end, there was no plot and what the author thought was funny, was not funny.
My well-founded judgment as a studied Germanist:
Boo! Crappy book! 🤬
But I was in a dilemma. I bought the book in Zurich. There was a shop where lost items from the train were sold. Two novels for 3 euros! Great bargain in one of the most expensive cities in the world! I had to stick with it now.
But I'm already dreading the second novel! 👻🤣
Then on Saturday:
Strolling through the city of Celle! Did I mention that I like to hang out and drink coffee? You can do that perfectly on Saturdays in Celle! And we also have a delightful weekly market, furthermore, the city church invites you to the 'lunch break during market time' every Saturday during the summer months (see today's program in photos).
In addition, I ran into the 'Grandmas and Grandpas against Right-wing' directly. Isn't it nice to see who is taking a clear position and expressing their opinion?
Sunday is going to Mom's for her birthday...and another week, where absolutely nothing happened, is over. 😊
