So day 4 (almost) is over. And with it the first full working day!💪
Yesterday at 2:00 PM, I was sent to work for the first time. I work at 'Let Students', a language travel agency for Italians, Spaniards, and French. But we also have some Chinese and Germans booking through us. The company is a one-man operation, so I sit across from the friendly boss all day and have fixed tasks. In the first few days/weeks, I am responsible for incoming payments. Which payment belongs to which booking and thus to which student and which room in an apartment or host family? So I figure this out and monitor whether all students pay for their accommodation and language course on time. Actually quite exciting! Really!😊
For tomorrow, I could decide to start at 11:30 AM (my regular working hours are from 10 AM to 5 PM), or to go with one of our customers at 10 AM. I chose the 10 AM option because I'm somehow interested in it. I'm curious about what's next and I'm confident that this job is the right one for me!😊
While I was lazy in my room last night, calling my family and my dear girlfriend, today I will probably go out a bit. Where exactly, you'll find out later...
As an attachment today, you'll only see a very friendly seagull in the park and a more than powerful 'small' strawberry milkshake called Wimbledon Womble - with marshmallows and cream!😇
See you later!
