06.07., 23:00:

I'm back... And my mood could actually not be better!

Today, as usual, I went to the office at 10:00 a.m. I was assigned some new tasks that I will dive deeper into tomorrow. So far, a big part of my work has been the so-called payment check and updating the rooming chart - from today/tomorrow on, my task will be the management of all (not only incoming) payments. I'm excited.

After being kindly allowed to leave work already at almost 3:00 p.m. today, even though it was still lunchtime, I made my way to the so-called Amex Stadium. Brighton & Hove Albion is playing in the Premier League this year and has a friendly match against Atletico Madrid in early August. So why not buy a ticket? When I arrived there, I was initially disappointed because the ticket office is closed outside of the season. Great, and to top it all off, I only went there because as a German, you can't buy tickets online!🤔 So, I made good use of my phone and called the stadium right next to me. The fact that I, as a German, am at the location of the game weeks before the match, for which I wanted a ticket, surprised the person on the other end of the line. His computer also didn't process the card number of the bank with the blue 'V' properly, which led to him personally selling me the ticket in the stadium. Very accommodating and friendly! Great!

After spending another afternoon at and in the pool, today was the first time I went to play tennis at the Badgers Tennis Club. I found 3 hardcourt courts and really good and very welcoming players of all ages, and had a great time! To arrange to meet up again, we exchanged phone numbers right away - let's keep it up!

Attached are some more photos of the day, and now good night!😊
