Farewell to Maxi & our plans

Today on 02.01.2018 we sold our beloved Maxi. 😢😢 She has been with us for almost 9 months, bringing Padi to the store every day and driving us almost 30,000km through and around the continent. She safely took us through every 4WD track and through the heat. Now back in Darwin, we have to part ways. But she is in good hands now, the new owner is Dave, our friend from Blackmoore River. They will be going fishing tomorrow. We are sure Maxi will experience many more adventures and we will definitely come back to visit her.

We will spend the last few days in Darwin and meet up with some friends. Our flight to Melbourne is on Saturday morning. In Melbourne, we will spend 2 weeks, visiting Ross and exploring the city. Then we have rented a camper van for 17 days. We will drive the Great Ocean Road, then the coast to Sydney, and whatever else we come across along the way. The last 5 days, we will move to a hostel in the middle of Sydney and explore this world metropolis and its sights. On 10.02., we will fly to Thailand - Bangkok. There, we will explore the city and its surroundings and then take a flight to Krabi. In Krabi, we will relax on the beach and let the exciting past 12 months sink in. On 28.02.2018, we will fly back to the Federal Republic of Germany and look forward to seeing everyone again.
