This morning we went out to brunch. The prices here are very low again! A toast, fried egg, butter, and jam for about 2 Swiss francs. Afterwards, I had some time for myself and enjoyed the beautiful garden at the house. In the afternoon, I was able to visit the 'Jukani' Wildcat Park with Sarah and Rouven, where they volunteered last year. We were able to witness the feeding, which is not normally open to tourists. This is because some tourists complained that the animals were being fed horse and cow meat. They thought it was inhumane...
Most of the wildcats in the park were previously in a circus or kept as pets. When they grew too big, they were abandoned. In Jukani, they have a large enclosure to themselves, where they are kept wild. This means they are no longer touched and are only fed and cared for from the outside.
In the evening, we had a very cozy BBQ with Sarah and Rouven, as well as a former neighbor of Paul and Steph. Paul seasoned the meat with special spices and beer, and Sarah and I seasoned the salad with Aromat :).
