After my hand luggage was taken from me during boarding of the Ryanair plane and stored in the regular cargo hold, I was allowed to take my seat 33C in the very last row. No window seat this time. After a short nap, the announcement came 'Drinks and Food now serving'. Great...finally...my stomach growls and I feel slightly dehydrated. But too soon to rejoice, after a short time I realize that there's nothing free on this 2h45m flight. What? Welcome to the budget airline Ryanair. Not even barf bags are available, you can only get them on request. After about 45 minutes of constant cramps in my stomach and back, I considered asking for one. Since my painkillers are in my bag, I asked the crew members. They sadly inform me that they're not authorized to distribute medicine to passengers. So there I was, pale as a sheet and about to vomit due to the terrible pain. I went from row to row asking, until someone finally provided me with a soluble painkiller. At least one crew member willingly shared her personal water with me, I was very grateful for that.
10 minutes before landing, I'm finally feeling better. Completely exhausted, I step onto Irish soil and am more relieved than ever...!
