Hey there,
after a stormy night (not what you're thinking), it is still very windy this morning, but the sunrise is as beautiful as ever. Today accompanied by a family of ducks and a rainbow.
The Scottish weather frog predicts a cloudy day with light showers and wind, wind, wind....and more wind.
We plan to spend today in Perth. Darling Google promises us 59 minutes, so we tighten our shoes and hair and go for it.
Perth is probably the most underestimated city in Scotland. With Scotland's longest river, the Tay, flowing through the city, Perth can already charm its visitors. However, this city also has a rough side. It's not just pure beauty. But in the town center, you'll find many very beautiful old and also quirky houses. Often it's the details that make the building so worth seeing. Unfortunately, most visitors to Scotland just pass by without giving them a glance. I admit, we only managed to do so on our fourth attempt.
We've strolled around the city for a few hours, visited the museum and St. John's Kirk. However, photography is prohibited everywhere there.
After leaving Perth, we set off for Huntingtower Castle. Small, manageable, and very pretty to look at.
And one more thing I must mention today: I love the sky over Scotland. And today it hasn't disappointed me again. On the way to the hotel, I took some photos that I hope fascinate you as much as they do me.
We're having a Guinness this evening for Lovely Amanda, since it's her birthday today, and we are 60 years young. Cheers, Amanda. We wish you all the best!
Wishing you all a lovely evening.
Bidh mi gad fhaicinn! (See you).
