Through wild waters and down steep cliffs

We spent the weekend together with Micha and Lysann, a friend and colleague of hers, in Jalcomulco.

With a significant delay, we arrived by taxi and after a quick meal, we went straight to rafting.

Afterwards, we were able to enjoy a ceremonial Temazcal, an herbal steam bath, before ending the evening with a communal campfire with drums and games.

The next morning, right after breakfast, we went rappelling - abseiling down a 65m high, steep rock wall, before ending our weekend with a zipline.

In the evening, we were back in Xalapa, had to say goodbye to Lysann and spontaneously visited a Salvador Dali exhibition.

While we try to enjoy the remaining days of our vacation, we are keeping a close eye on the situation in Europe and hope that we can return to Germany on Saturday without major difficulties.
