Arrival in Halifax

After our family said goodbye to us at the airport and we boarded the plane to Canada, we had a relatively uneventful flight with a lot of sales announcements. We were lucky and had a tailwind, so we arrived in Canada about 45 minutes earlier than planned.

Then we took the bus to Halifax ($3.50). We decided to only go to downtown and walk the remaining 3.5 kilometers to our accommodation at Dalhousie University. With a temperature of 5 degrees and drizzle, Halifax didn't present itself from its best side. But tomorrow morning, we'll give Halifax another chance.

We've made some initial plans on where to look for transportation and how to combine it with visiting some tourist highlights.
