Jaipur with Bhanu

Argitaratu: 10.03.2018

Three days in Jaipur, a city that is much cleaner than any other we have seen before. This is because there is a waste management system here and anyone who does not follow it has to pay a fine, as Bhanu told us. Bhanu is an Indian and lives in Jaipur. We met him in Vrindavan. He took us to the 'Pink City', the City Palace, the royal observatory Jantar Mantar and the Amber Fort. These were all very impressive and historically significant buildings. For example, the Amber Fort was used to defend the city of Jaipur and is located slightly outside with a wall that stretches along the mountains. Furthermore, Bhanu took us to a Rajasthani restaurant one evening. This restaurant resembled a high-quality amusement park. So not only could you eat until you burst, but you could also ride elephants and camels, dance, watch street performers, get your face painted, or feel like a kid and slide down giant slides. There we petted an elephant and rode a camel, both were incredibly majestic at the same time. They were very beautiful days, even though our hotel was not exactly hygienic.

Next up is Jaisalmer and what awaits us there, you will find out in the coming days ;-)
