Flight to host family - 20.1.2018

The departure to the airport began at 4 in the morning, as some of us had to catch a very early flight. The others had the opportunity to have a comfortable breakfast at the airport (thanks again for breakfast, Sophie ;)) and say goodbye to the others. After my 4-hour flight from Sydney to Christchurch, plus another full hour to get through security checks, I was finally able to greet my host mother and my younger host brothers. I liked them from the beginning, and even though life and everyday routines would still feel very unfamiliar in the next few weeks, I always tried to enjoy every second here in New Zealand.
