Füssen/Saltaus

Then on Wednesday we continued straight to Füssen, where we stayed for one night.

We didn't take a closer look at Neuschwanstein Castle and let it rest with the view from a distance.

On Thursday, after breakfast, we set off again to take full advantage of Per's morning nap.

We had our lunch stop at Lake Resia in Italy. Bine and Jelto were very excited as it was their first visit to Italy. Then we drove down the Alps and arrived at our campground in Saltaus around 15:30. We ended the rest of the day with setting up and cooking.

On Saturday, we wanted to leave early in the morning to go shopping. Unfortunately, the bicycle path was closed just before reaching our destination, so we had to turn back. Jelto later did the shopping in a village nearby. Besides that, we went on a little hike and had a delicious barbecue in the evening. Per is not in a particularly good mood right now. Apparently, his two upper incisors are coming in at the same time.

Tomorrow, on Sunday, we want to go on another bike tour to Merano, and on Monday we will continue to Lake Garda.
