I couldn't sleep well even though there was only one other person in the room. So I woke up early, made myself coffee and tea and chilled out in the living room. Then I ate something small and lay down for a bit. At 9 a.m. I went out to the El Fontán market, a large market hall where fruit/cheese and sausage vendors offer their goods. There was also fish, bread and other things there. This market is mainly used by locals. Afterwards I walked through the streets for a while. It's funny how empty the city is in the morning, but also understandable when you can't eat outside until 8/9 p.m. and then people stay awake until midnight or later. Then I visited the cathedral. A museum and a visit to the treasury were included and you could also hear all the information in German with an audio guide. Maybe I'll go to a trade fair this weekend. Afterwards I went to the accommodation and had lunch. After a short break I set off because I wanted to climb a small mountain, Monte Naranco and a Jesus monument. The path was tough and very steep and strenuous. Luckily I went up without a backpack and arrived at the top dripping with sweat. But the view of the city and the surrounding area was legendary. Was worth it. I made myself comfortable there and made a phone call. After some time I went back down and went to my accommodation to rest and drink some coffee and tea. I'll go out again later. At the accommodation I met an Argentinian who was vacationing here.
