From the parking space in La Spezia, we continued to Levanto. One of the many small villages of the Cinque Terre. We spent 3 nights here, luckily it rained a little 1-2 times, so we could breathe a little. Levanto and Bonassola were really cute. Here I also had the best spaghetti carbonara and the most delicious tiramisu of my life. The water for swimming was wonderful.
On Sunday we went to a parking space in Santa Margaritha. Here we rode down to the city by bike. And then we took the boat to Portofino. We wanted to visit Portofino 2 years ago, this time it worked. A village that is very famous from movies and television. Unfortunately, you could also tell this from the streams of tourists and the prices of the restaurants. (Coffee €4) So we explored the alleys and the view and returned after 2 hours. The boat trip was great. Highly recommended.
The next day we drove through Genoa to a small campsite right by the sea. It was incredibly hot, so on Monday we were unable to do anything. Just shade and a quick dip in the sea. Since the heat was really getting to me and I started getting almond pain again, we went to a hotel in San Remo for 2 days. Really a good idea, air-conditioned room and the 2 nights were very restful. In Sanremo, we also took our next PCR test for France. Fairly uncomplicated but painful, we received the negative test results by email the following day. On our last evening in Sanremo, we went out for pizza. Since the wine is very affordable, we treated ourselves to a lot. The limoncello was on the house. A lovely evening :)
