29th stage "Tashkent"

There is not much to report about today. We wanted to take the train back to Tashkent at 2:34 p.m. and see a few sights before then. We were particularly interested in the Mausoleum of Ismael Samani. A building built around the year 900, it is in very good condition and impressive despite its simplicity. When it was time to head to the train station, there were unfortunately problems with the taxi, which meant that we missed our train. Luckily we were able to change to a later train, although it was a slow regional train. It was already midnight when we finally arrived at the hotel.

Tomorrow we will continue into the mountains near Chimgan.
