From Bergen, we drove further south into the valley of waterfalls - Odda Valley. Our weather was getting better and we were delighted by every ray of sunshine. Somewhere on the Hardanger Fjord, we found a beautiful spot for the night with a view over the valley. The next day, we continued through Odda Valley to Roldal, where we had breakfast and visited a small stave church. Stave churches are made of wood and the basic construction consists of masts (also called staves) that support the roof. Such churches are mainly found in Scandinavia. Along the way, we saw plenty of beautiful waterfalls.
Further south, we found a nice campsite in Flateland. We stayed here for two days as we all needed a break from driving.
