Chapter 4.3 - (Last?) Day in Quy Nhon

12:18pm

I'm currently at the hairdresser's. We woke up around 11am. I got ready and asked Julian where the hairdresser he chose was. The hairdresser I went to yesterday was only for women.

Once I'm freshened up, I will meet Julian, Ole, and Peer. Most likely, we will have breakfast first.

The weather report didn't look great, but we'll stay optimistic for now ;)

I can tell that my hairdresser works very precisely. They take their time here. Very impressive.

2:38pm

We're stopping by a cafe after our first failed beach mission. We actually wanted to break into a resort, but there was a guard today. We then drove to a really big beach, but it was very dirty and there was no shade from the sun. We're heading back to another beach.

I want to stop spontaneously to take a photo. I pull the front brake and promptly fall down because the gravel doesn't feel like supporting me :D

Everything's good, nothing happened. The scooter barely has any scratches either.

4:02pm

Sitting on the beach, went into the water a few times with Julian. Ole and Peer have too much respect for the power of the sea. The current is quite strong. Earlier, a local came and made a cross with his arms. It means 'don't go into the water, you tourists'. In the background, you can see Quy Nhon, a wonderful view.

We discussed earlier that we're not going to Van Thanh, but instead stay another night in Quy Nhon. Julian is hopping on the night bus to Da Nang tonight. I hope I meet him again on my way to Hanoi. Great guy, like all Berliners.

5:49pm

Back at the homestay. We shower and get ready for the evening. Julian is also coming by to drop off his things and we will have dinner again before he leaves.

10:35pm

We're back at yesterday's bar and having cocktails again. I'm also having fish & chips again. I win the second round of Durak :) Julian is heading off to his night bus. It was a nice day. Too bad he has to leave.

1:13am

We're all in bed. I have a slight sunburn. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. The rain caught up with us, but it's still warm!
