Day 3 in Boston/ Continuing to Washington D.C.

This morning, a visit to Harvard University was still on the agenda before heading to Washington. Honestly, I imagined the university buildings differently. They were really just so huge. I also didn't expect so many tourists on the campus.

If you're in Boston, you should definitely visit Harvard University. The excursion was definitely worth it. After that, we took a walk in Cambridge (a suburb of Boston). There, I saw the following: In the middle of the street, there was an outdoor phone charging station at a pharmacy. I think German pharmacies should introduce something like this as well.

Later on, we started heading towards Washington D.C. with the rental car. Unfortunately, we got stuck in the evening traffic of New York and instead of 8.5 hours, it took us nearly 12 hours. What is not considered a long journey for Americans is quite far for us Germans. However, the drive was definitely worth it. Washington is just incredible, but I will write more about it in the following article.
