Colombia - Medellin and Bogota

Since we all got along so well, the five of us simply traveled on to Colombia to start the new year in Medellin.

We had a great time on our large roof terrace... despite our animal rat friends. In general, we were all very positively surprised - both by the city and the people. And no, we weren't just partying ;) hiking, riding, shopping and simply exploring the city. We were also lucky enough to meet Jakub and Sara and start a little local pub crawl with a bottle or two of rum.

Unfortunately, I thought about the environment again and didn't take the 1 hour, 40 euro flight to Bogota... but insisted that we take the 8.5 hour bus ride. Stupid decision!!! Because of a bus breakdown we were finally on the road for 18 hours and I managed to throw my cell phone into the toilet on the bus 😊. It was definitely worth it.

I can't really recommend Bogota itself. But on our last day we hiked to the highest waterfall in Colombia.

Now I'm on the plane to Peru - and will meet Asma and Plaice in a few hours 😍
