Eungella National Park

After a hearty breakfast, we drove to Mackay, where the ranger was already waiting.

Then we took a mini bus to Finch Hatten Hilton. To a great jungle BBQ spot where we could watch water dragons. There were delicious steaks and sausages for lunch in the middle of the wilderness.

Afterwards, we hiked to the Aurelen Waterfall, where Anna could cool off extensively and found her own little waterfall.

Then we drove to Eungella National Park. In the twilight, we could observe the rare platypuses. We drove with the camper at night for the first time and everything went well.

The next day, a young German couple with their little Hanna passed by our camper and the two girls immediately became inseparable. 😆

In the afternoon, we took a walk together through the national park and let the kids run on the way back at the beach.
