A lazy day at the beach๐Ÿ˜Š

Argitaratu: 22.05.2018

This morning, I missed my 'Start to the Day' at breakfast. It's a spiced quark. Thanks to the lovely Balinese, I had a variety of spices placed on the table ๐Ÿ‘ and I was able to create a spiced yogurt, yummmmmy :-). ๐Ÿ˜€

Across from our resort is a small supermarket. We wanted to buy water there, but it was easier said than done. The traffic on the road is crazy. Tons of mopeds, and then the stupid left-hand traffic ๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€. If it weren't for Daniela by my side, I would probably already be a front decoration on a bus. So, back to crossing this small road. Here we are on the sidewalk, ready to dart across the street ๐Ÿ™ˆ, but nothing happens. Suddenly, the security guy from the hotel stands next to us, puts his whistle in his mouth, and holds up a stop sign ๐Ÿ›‘ on the road ๐Ÿ˜€. The traffic actually stopped for 10 seconds and we made it across. It was a funny situation, but it's true, the security is supposed to help guests cross the street ๐Ÿ˜‡ - imagine how that sounds ๐Ÿ™ˆ-!

Since we were still pretty exhausted from the long flight, we spent the entire day at the beach, ocean, and resort. It's very comfortable on the beach, with a light breeze blowing that makes it very pleasant for me.

At 4 p.m., a beach wedding took place at our resort. It was strange to see hotel guests standing there in their bikinis ๐Ÿ‘™ or swim trunks, watching the ceremony with their phones and beer mugs ๐Ÿบ. It's not my thing, really.

In the evening, we took a shuttle bus to a shopping center. It was beautifully designed, with many water fountains and colorful light balls hanging from the trees. We enjoyed ourselves with cocktails ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿน. We even managed to walk the 25-minute way back home, no shuttle bus.

Best regards from us and good night ๐Ÿ’ค
