Day 3 * Trip to San Sebastián

Morning: Bessines-sur-Gartempe * Evening: Donostia-San Sebastián

In Bessines-sur-Gartempe, we go for a jog around the lake in the drizzle. Then we continue driving towards Bordeaux via Limoges. In Cubzac-les-Ponts, we have a lunch break by the Dordogne. The sun is shining, it's really warm - the baguette tastes even better.

We continue our journey passing by Bordeaux, Arcachon, Bayonne, Biarritz ... all the beautiful places we leave behind. Because we want to quickly reach Donostia-San Sebastian and eat delicious Pintxos!

At the artwork 'Construcción Vacía' by Jorge de Oteiza, we find a front row seat with a view of the wild ocean. Absolutely stunning here.

We hop on our bikes and ride along the coast to the surfer beach Zurriola. There, we treat ourselves to an aperitif at sunset.

It's always impressive to see the locals walking barefoot with their surfboards in a relaxed manner.

In the bustling old town, we load our plates with Pintxos and drink red and white Rioja. On the way back, we leisurely roll through the port and enjoy the view of La Concha beach. Then we go around the mountain Urgull, back to Oteiza's artwork and our premium parking spot in Donostia-San Sebastián.
