Nightmare at the train station 😵🙆

Our train was supposed to depart at 0:10 AM with a delay! Well, shortly before 12:00 AM, the announcement came 'the train is canceled'!!!! It might leave at 4:00 AM, but no guarantee 😵! I immediately grabbed my phone, searched for flights, and booked one. In the meantime, Daniela canceled the train tickets, here you get your money back immediately at the counter if a train doesn't run! Many travelers left, but especially the locals stayed and made themselves as comfortable as possible on the floor! They conjured up huge cardboard pieces and laid them out, on which they lay down to sleep! We booked an airport hotel for the few hours until the flight and could at least sleep for 3 hours 😩!

What can I say, it was supposed to be my first long train journey (11 hours) in Vietnam, but that won't happen anymore👎! All other routes will be covered by plane and bus 😬!

By the way, a typhoon that raged in Hanoi this time should be the reason for the train cancellation! Well, I don't care, I said to Daniela 'it's almost like at home, only half of it works with the railway'! I'm glad when I'm sitting in the plane soon🤗😊! Nha Trang, here we come👍!
