Then I went straight from the dark corner of the main train station to the dark corner of the long-distance bus station. And behold, it was even darker than an hour ago. Some FlixBuses arrived, but mine wasn't among them. But then, when I wasn't paying attention, it came, a double-decker bus and stood at the other end of the bus stop. So off we go now. Checked in my luggage, the bus driver twitched a bit as if it was too heavy, but then loaded it. I'm curious if I'll get my luggage back.
At 23:58 I was on the bus, right side, sixth row by the window. Not bad at first glance. Plenty of space for the knees, power socket, and 150 MB of free internet. Yippieh, the world is saved.
With a 2-minute delay, we left at 00:12 on Friday, September 8, 2017. Now it's 00:36 and we're still picking up more passengers at the airport - I'm still sitting alone.
I'm considering if I'm hungry. Or just in the mood. I have no idea. Oh yeah, I'm also tired.
00:41 and I'm no longer alone. Very multicultural here on the bus, didn't know they drove so far. Haha, he's funny.
00:43 and we're continuing. Great, the driver did brake for a moment when passing under the bridge. I hope it was the antenna that scratched against the bridge.
My seat neighbor coughs constantly. Just great!!!!!!!
I actually survived the night. A very interesting experience.
The central bus station in Munich impressed me a lot, Frankfurt still has some work to do.
After a latte with some sandwiches for breakfast, I eagerly awaited my bus. And behold, I got a good seat. Front row, right side. Great view!
We left a bit earlier than planned, shortly before 08:15. Blue sky, wonderful sunshine, even though it was a bit chilly at the central bus station earlier.
We're now on the A95 towards Garmisch, passing by Lake Starnberg, and at 08:50 we pass Iffeldorf, the adopted home of Wander-Sveni.
By the way, for about 15 minutes now, you can see the mountains - brilliant.
So, now I'm enjoying the ride and will definitely check in later today.
See you later.
