The first tour to the Altiplano: Socaire and the Miniques and Miscanti lagoons at an altitude of 4,350m.

The lagoons belong to the Los Flamencos National Reserve. Unfortunately, it was a bit cloudy on this day, but the pictures speak for themselves.

On the way back, we drove through the Salar de Atacama. The landscape there is impressive.

And since it is the driest region in the world, we were stuck in our car for a while again in the evening because it rained a lot. Out of desperation, we walked into the nearest bar and discovered something really nice!

Good tip if you're looking for a rustic bar with great bands and good (affordable) food - Cafe Barros. I was just told that I should definitely mention not to use the toilet there. Under no circumstances - so it's better to plan accordingly😉
