Camptour 17th + 18th part: from Jasper to Clearwater + Clearwater

After leaving the national park, the temperatures slowly started to rise. Unfortunately, the campsite we had chosen for the next night was not yet open, so we had to drive a longer distance that day and could only stay in Clearwater.

On this day, we encountered the largest animal of our tour. Suddenly, a bear crossed the road in front of us unexpectedly. Unfortunately, he was gone as quickly as he came, and we were so unprepared that we couldn't take a really good photo :(

The campsite in Clearwater was one of the most beautiful on our trip. Situated right by the lake and not too many pitches, but rather small and fine. Since it had just opened, we got a special price and had the place almost to ourselves :) In the evening, we had burgers and this time we remembered to bring buns :D
