Karon Beach - Khaolak - Similan Islands

After our time in Phuket Town, we continued to Karon Beach in Phuket, which is really nice for swimming, but unfortunately very crowded. Mostly Russians.

Then we went to Khaolak for a few days. From there we took a day trip to the Similan Islands. The island group is said to have the most beautiful beaches, with the finest sand and the clearest water. We were able to see that for ourselves. However, you have to book a tour to get there. As you can imagine, most tourists do this, as well as the Thais themselves. Accordingly, it was very busy. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful trip and the view was worth it.
