Travemünde Week 2024

Today, a completely different kind of travel description. Few words, but lots of photos.

Since it is Travemünde Week here at the same time, I would like to show you this beautiful place in a completely different way. There are more people on the streets and by the water than usual. Lots of stalls, lots of tasty things to eat and different music to listen to; everything from Ballermann to salsa sounds is represented.
Many dogs would certainly have preferred to have stayed at home, in the hotel or holiday apartment, so that they could later romp around on the dog beach on the Priwall.

At least I had the pleasure of seeing the dolphin that has been frolicking in the harbor for about two years now – unfortunately only from a distance, but still.
The weather is playing along and so both big and small people can enjoy the hustle and bustle here – if they like it.

It might be worth considering embarking on such a trip. Either when so many enthusiastic sailors drop anchor here with their large and small sailing boats. Or when there aren't quite so many people here. Every time has its own charm.
