San Francisco and Sacramentc

On Friday, we had the pleasure of experiencing the famous fog over San Francisco. We first went to the beach and watched some surfers brave the big icy cold Pacific waves. Then we explored the streets of San Francisco, including Lombart Street and the towering skyscrapers. After that, we passed by the pier and went to the Golden Gate Bridge, with a great view of Alcatraz, although the fog was covering the entire bridge.

We then drove from San Francisco to Sacramento and visited the preserved historic district.

The end of our trip for the day was at a wonderful inn in Twain Harte in the middle of the forest.
