Stay 'El Ombú' (26./27.3.)

Hello dear ones,

I'm getting back to you after a long time. A lot has happened since then. I had a heart operation because a tendon of a heart valve was torn and it had to be repaired as quickly as possible... that was in April and the surgery was at the beginning of May.

Unfortunately, I didn't manage to edit our Estancia trip before, but I'm doing it now.

When Torben's mother was here a few weeks ago, we went on a two-day trip to the famous Estancia 'El Ombú', which was really worth it. It was a very nice stay and an impressive experience for everyone.

The children were thrilled about horseback riding, Mia even got to gallop with a gaucho across the meadow, as no one else joined us for the ride and our girls are pretty confident in horseback riding by now.

There was plenty of delicious food, especially meat and sausages, and also cultural performances such as dance and music, where even the youngest ones at the Estancia know how to dance a Chacarita...

The best performance was the horse dressage and the trust that the riders and horses have in each other...

This way, Grandma could also experience a little bit of Argentine cultural heritage and even take a ride in the carriage with Lea...
