Ronny: I find Denmark to be a very beautiful and diverse country. It has many landscapes with a historical background and buildings such as castles and palaces. The people are very friendly and there is a relaxed atmosphere. As a camper, it is difficult to find lonely places due to the dense population. There are beautiful cities and villages in Denmark. The museums are very well-equipped and organized. For me, a return trip to Denmark is conceivable.
Ela: The Danes are a well-rested bunch. Unlike in Norway or Sweden, there is already busy activity here in the morning. However, all shops and restaurants close at the latest at 8 p.m. So you should adapt. Denmark simply has a dreamlike nature on its coasts. This surprised me very positively. From chalk cliffs to sand dunes to incredibly long sandy beaches, there is pretty much everything. And it is an el dorado of hühnergötter. If you pay attention, you will definitely find at least one. In addition, Denmark offers an incredible amount of culture. In our search for the history of the Vikings, we found an abundance here. But in the interior of the country, Denmark is rather unspectacular. You have to search for special landscapes. Like the Limfjord, for example. I particularly liked the infrastructure for vacationers and campers. We were able to camp freely for all 4 weeks except for one night, and that was legitimate! Everywhere at the ports or even at youth hostels, truck stops, you could shower and dispose of waste for free or for a small fee. I thought that was really great. In southern Denmark, almost every Dane speaks German. After the many months of mostly English as well as hands and feet, it was again quite unusual for us. So initially, there was often a confused communication.
Would I come back to Denmark? Yes, definitely for relaxation.
