Stopover in Madrid

The flight was very relaxed. Business class was just the first 4 rows of the plane, but with 3 seats on either side, the middle seat was always free, so it was very comfortable. After the start, the first drinks were served and then you were given a menu where you could choose between two dishes as the main course. I chose the vegetarian one (pasta with artichokes). I have to say that the entire meal tasted really good and just having proper cutlery, glasses and a cloth napkin enhanced the meal. You could order drinks and the staff was really very accommodating. Afterwards I watched a film for 2 hours and the time went by quickly. When I arrived in Madrid I had to change terminals and although I had flown via Madrid before, I didn't remember it being so hectic and disorganized. The labeling was really catastrophic and I generally find my way around quickly. Anyway, I took a train to Terminal 4S and wanted to sit at the gate, but then I passed the Iberia Lounge. Normally this is only for first class and this time I booked business class. But I was lucky and was able to enjoy the luxury. I still had almost 3 hours left. The lounge was very large and had lots of comfortable seats. There were also toilets and even showers. And then we come to the buffet. There was cold and hot food. I think the pictures speak for themselves. Everything really tasted good and it was constantly being replenished and cleaned. The staff was very friendly. And of course I went for it. There was also a large selection of hot and cold drinks. In addition to beer, wine, you could also have shots or other spirits. Really a dream place for me. After eating I relaxed a bit, charged my phone and spent some time on it. So the time until the next flight passed quickly.
